Mega Millions jackpot amount climbs up to $510 million

ATLANTA — After no winner was announced in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing, the jackpot amount is now $510 million.

Georgians will have a chance to win the second-largest Mega Millions jackpot of 2022.

The cash option is now $266.8 million.

According to lottery officials, on Oct.14, winning tickets were sold in San Jose, California and Fort Meyers, Florida for a jackpot of $502 million or a cash value of $252 million.

In July, a ticket worth $1.33 billion with a cash value of $780.5 million was purchased in Des Plaines, Illinois by an anonymous partnership, officials stated.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
