Things 2 Do

Score $10 tickets to ‘Hamilton’ at the Fox Theatre

The hit Broadway show “Hamilton” opens Sunday at the Fox Theatre. Regular tickets start at $79.

However, there is a way to check out the show for much less. Producer Jeffery Seller and Fifth Third Bank Broadway In Atlanta announced the #HAM4HAM lottery. To celebrate Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta’s 40th anniversary season, 40 tickets will be offered for $10 each at every performance.

Digital lotteries begin each Friday at 10 a.m. and close the following Thursday at noon for the upcoming week’s performances.

Fans can enter the lottery online at Hamiltonmusical.com/lottery, as well as in the “Hamilton” app.

Both winners and non-winners will be notified on Thursday between 1-4 p.m. Winners will have two hours to claim tickets. Each winning entrant can purchase two tickets. Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning two hours prior to the performance with a valid photo ID.

“Hamilton” is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, “Hamilton” has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre — a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics and education.

The show is in Atlanta through the end of September.
