DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are searching for the person who shot a man and left him to die on a DeKalb County street.
Evidence markers and bullet casing were scattered all over the street on Redan Road overnight.
Authorities said the bullets were flying up and down the street close to several homes. Right now, detectives don’t know what triggered the shooting.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Devan Mingo.

Police said they got a call about shots fired near the intersection of Redan Road and Oakwood Chase Circle.
When officers showed up, they found a man shot and killed on the side of the road.
More than a dozen bullet casings were all over the street.
Detectives believe their victim was shot running from the shooter and collapsed near a subdivision.
This morning, police have no motive or a description of the killer.
