FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — For the third time during the pandemic stricken NFL season of 2020, the Atlanta Falcons have had to shut down their practice facility.
The team announced Thursday morning out of an abundance of caution, the facility would be closed due to two non-coaching staff members testing positive for COVID-19.

In a statement the team says they’ve initiated contact-tracing protocols after consulting with NFL and medical officials. With the practice facility closed all in person work will be done remotely for the day.

The team says it does not anticipate the closure impacting the status of Sunday’s 1 p.m. home game vs. the Las Vegas Raiders at Mercedes Benz Stadium here in Atlanta.
