ATLANTA — We know it’s a sports taboo to look at ticket prices before your team heads to the World Series, but you’ve got to plan ahead!
Channel 2′s Dave Huddleston looked up how much it could set you back to go to the game.
Huddleston compared the prices for if the Braves were to play the Houston Astros or the Boston Red Sox

If the first game is held in Atlanta, it’s $850 for a ticket to the game. A ticket to Game at Boston’s Fenway Park would be $603. If the Braves were to play their first game in Houston, tickets would be $569 apiece.

Then, there’s the flights. A Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Houston is $269 or $712 for first class. Airfare to Boston is a little more at $281 for coach and $416 for comfort seats.
Hotels range in price for both cities, from $96 a night all the way up to $500 for the first night of the World Series.

If airfare is too much, you could always drive. It’s 11 hours to NRG Stadium in Houston and 16 hours to Boston without any stops.
Huddleston talked to Eugene O’Donnell, who said that if the Braves win tonight and go to the World Series, he would try to get tickets to go.
“Absolutely,” O’Donnell said. “If my wife would let me.”
If O’Donnell’s wife does let him, got, it will cost him around $1,000 to go to the game in both Houston and Boston.
If he drives, it’s a little more for each state. That’s if game tickets don’t shoot up in price between now and the series.
