ATLANTA — Atlanta police have issued a Mattie’s Call for a 75-year old man with dementia who has been reported missing from his care facility.

Police say James Gas was reported missing from the Westminster Commons adult care facility at 560 St. Charles Rd. early Sunday morning and the facility staff are deeply concerned for his safety.
They describe Mr. Gas as a Black male, approximately 5-5 tall, 140lbs, with salt and pepper hair. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, brown pants, and brown shoes. The facility staff says Gas suffers from both dementia and alzheimer’s disease and is not able to take care of himself.

Police Missing Persons detectives are asking anyone who may have seen Mr. Gas to please call 9-1-1 immediately or contact the Adult Missing Persons Unit at 404-546-4235.
