Police searching for 16-year-old girl who’s been missing for weeks

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who has been missing weeks.

Shanylah Petersen was last seen on Nov. 6 at her home on the 8000 block of Tara Road. She was reported missing on Nov. 25.

Petersen is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a colored T-shirt with purple, multicolored shorts.
