2 women arrested after allegedly stealing almost $3K in perfumes from a Cobb County Kohl’s

ACWORTH, Ga. — Two women have been arrested after they allegedly stole close to $3,000 worth of perfumes from Kohl’s in Cobb County.

On Wednesday, Acworth police were called to Kohl’s on Cobb Parkway in reference to a theft in progress.

Once officers arrived, they reportedly began watching live surveillance video of the suspects putting perfume bottles into a shopping cart.

Officials say one of the suspects went into a fitting room for an extended period of time and then left the fitting room with a bag without any visible merchandise.

Officers inspected the fitting room but did not find any merchandise.

As the suspects, identified as Pashion Johnson, 37, of Lawrenceville, and Sata Dennis, 28, of Loganville, were attempting to leave the store they spotted a police car and began running to their car.

Officers were able to arrest the suspects. During the investigation, officials reportedly learned that the bag was used to hide numerous perfume bottles valued at $2,875.

Authorities also found other suspected stolen items in the suspect’s car after the arrest.

Johnson and Dennis are charged with felony shoplifting.
