DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: Ms. Vorhaben was found safe around 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to DeKalb police.

DeKalb County police are asking the public for help in finding 71-year-old Peggy Vorhaben who they said was last seen near her home just outside of LIthonia.

Police said Vorhaben walked away from her home on the 4100 block of North Goddard Road some time Tuesday afternoon and has not been seen since.
Vorhaben is described as a 71-year-old female, 5-2 tall and 139 lbs. They said she was wearing black pants, a shirt, sneakers and a blue fleece sweater.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Vorhaben to call 911 or the DeKalb County Special Victims Unit at 770-724-7710.
