Police in LaGrange have released body cam video, saying an officer’s use of force was warranted during a recent arrest.
Police said Broderick Brown had warrants for drugs and guns. They arrested him last week.
They took Brown to the hospital after he complained about not being able to breathe.

Someone filed a complaint against the officers. But on Monday, the department said the officer’s force was warranted.
“This investigation revealed that there is no factual basis to support the allegations that either Officer Turner or Investigator Dorsey acted inappropriately or applied physical force that was unreasonable in the apprehension and arrest of Brown,” the department said in a news release.
