Wedge brings widespread showers to north Georgia

The chances for rain on Wednesday

ATLANTA — Some areas saw periods of rain Wednesday as a wedge moved out of north Georgia.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan said the north Georgia mountains saw the heaviest rain.

Most areas in metro Atlanta had mist and drizzle through early this afternoon.
