According to her website, the popular Christian singer had a concert scheduled at Marathon Music Works in Nashville.

In an Instagram post, Daigle, 31, called the shooting at The Covenant School “truly heartbreaking for our Nashville community and all of those impacted.”

“I’m going to postpone my performance tonight, and in its place, host a community-wide prayer vigil,” Daigle wrote. “To everyone who was planning to come out, please continue to come join us as we share in a time of prayer and worship to honor the victims and everyone in need.”

Daigle, who won a Grammy for her album, “Look Up Child,” and the song “You Say,” said that people, even those without tickets, can attend the prayer vigil, WZTV reported.

Daigle’s show was supposed to be an “Album Preview Concert,” but will be performed at a future date, according to the television station.
