Omni Hotel offers only view for Braves fans to catch game in person

Atlanta Braves fans won’t be allowed inside Truist Park, but that doesn’t mean the games will be completely closed off this season.

Channel 2 sports anchor Alison Mastrangelo got a tour inside the Omni Hotel at the Battery, which has a view of the Braves ballpark from three different levels.

Fans can book rooms at the Omni Hotel that range from $1,750 king suite to the $3,500 presidential suite on game day. Check out the views:

Now, there are limits to the amount of guests who can be in the suites on Game Day. Omni is allowing only 25 people per suite with social distancing guidelines in place.

If you don’t want to pay for a hotel view but still want the game day experience, restaurants in the Battery Atlanta are open.

Channel 2′s Chris Jose spoke with restaurant managers about how they are adapting in the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Yeah we have a little bit of a different strategy this season. We normally get packed before the game and packed right after the game. We’re ready to go the entire length of the game this time,” Scott Sadoff said.

“Everyone is going to take a slight dip in sales, obviously with everything going on, and people being safe. And really controlling capacity. But everything will level out eventually.”

Wahlburgers general manager Joe Rose believes fans will still come out to the Battery to soak in game day just from a distance.

“We’re not the next best thing, we are the best thing because we are right here.”
