ATLANTA — Severe Weather Team 2 says we are going to wake up to a freeze on Thursday.

“We won’t be dealing with much of a wind chill, but the actual air temperature will start the day on Thursday in the upper 20s to low 30s,” Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

Despite the cold, there will be lots of sunshine ahead throughout the afternoon.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Morning lows right at freezing south and east of the city
- North and west of Atlanta, temps will be in the upper 20s
- Temps will top out around 50 on Thursday
