ATLANTA — Two cousins have been sentenced to prison for their scheme to defraud the government of more than $2 million.
Johnny Narcisse, and his cousin Johnson Dieujuste, were sentenced for defrauding the Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.
According to information presented in court in July 2021, federal agents investigating a Florida resident for suspected tax crimes executed a search warrant for the home, computer, and cell phone of Narcisse in Georgia.

The search of his computer and phone revealed a large amount of evidence that showed that he and his cousin, Dieujuste, had engaged in a conspiracy with each other to recruit small business owners and then file fraudulent applications for COVID-19 relief loans on their behalf.
Narcisse and Dieujuste, after getting the names, business names, and employer identification numbers from would-be borrowers, simply made up with the rest of the information needed to apply for the loans.
If the loans were approved, the borrowers kicked back a percentage of the loans to Narcisse and Dieujuste.
They applied for dozens of loans and over $2 million was dispersed.
Narcisse, 46, of Atlanta, was sentenced to two years and four months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
He was ordered to pay restitution totaling $2,000,332.
He was convicted on Oct. 21, 2024, after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Dieujuste, 37, of Loganville, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
He was ordered to pay restitution totaling $2,081,559.
He was convicted on Sept. 24, 2024, after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
