ATLANTA — Atlanta police have arrested a man suspected in a deadly shooting.
On Saturday, just before 8 a.m., officers responded to 2470 Cheshire Bridge Road NE to reports of a shooting.
When they arrived they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

EMS workers responded and pronounced the man deceased.
Homicide investigators also responded to determine the circumstances behind the shooting.
Later that day, officers responded to a criminal trespass call at 2350 Cheshire Bridge Road NE.
The officer recognized the suspect accused of trespassing as the man involved with the homicide at 2470 Cheshire Bridge Road NE.
The officer immediately arrested the man, identified as Malik Jones, 29, and seized the possible gun used in the homicide.
Jones was taken to police headquarters to be interviewed by homicide investigators.
Their investigation continues and murder charges are pending against him.
