ATLANTA — Officials are investigating after a body was found inside a burning car on Sunday morning, according to Atlanta Fire and Rescue.

Atlanta firefighters were called to a vehicle fire around 7:22 a.m. near 37 Wadley Street in northwest Atlanta.
When fire crews arrived, they said a body was inside the vehicle.
The victim’s age and identity were not released.
Officials did not share details on the make or model of the vehicle.
Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News homicide detectives arrived on scene and are investigating further.
