ATLANTA — Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak is revealing what she says life has been like going through a bitter divorce with her soon-to-be ex-husband Kroy Biermann.
“Nobody has any idea what I’ve dealt with the last two and a half, three years of my life,” Zociak told TMZ in a recent interview. “I’m trying to take the high road.”
The couple filed for divorce last May after 11 years of marriage. The issues between the couple have been very public.
In the interview, Zolciak said Biermann was “too controlling” and that the last few years have been “torture” as they continue to split.

“I’m trying to take the high road,” Zolciak said. “He has changed, and it didn’t work. Not for the good.”
Things have been so contentious between the two, that they have a strict closet schedule to avoid one another in their Milton mansion.
In an order filed in Fulton County court, Zolciak will have access to the closet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Biermann is not allowed to enter the closet during those times.
Despite the issues that have come up between the two, Zolciak said she wouldn’t rule out another relationship.
“It’s gonna take me a long time to heal from the trauma that I’ve experienced,” she told TMZ.
