ATLANTA — A man’s impatience landed him behind bars after he fired shots at someone dropping off a passenger at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the Atlanta Police Department said.
APD officials say officers responded to 6000 South Terminal Parkway just before 2 p.m. for a shots fired call.
When they arrived, officers spoke to the victim who said he was involved in a road rage incident after dropping someone off on the lower level of the south terminal.

Police say they learned the driver of the other vehicle became irritated as they left the terminal and sideswiped his vehicle.
The victim told police immediately after the accident, the suspect fired gunshots at him and then fled from the location.
The suspect suffered minor injuries, along with damage to his vehicle. After police searched the area, they found the suspect, 39-year-old Eric Freeman, in the area of 4210 Moreland Avenue SE.

Freeman was arrested and criminal charges are expected to be filed, APD says.
