ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after they said a man was shot near the downtown connector Sunday afternoon.

Just before 12:30 p.m., officers were called to the area of Interstate 20 westbound expressway and Interstate 75/85 southbound expressway regarding a person shot.
When APD arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and is currently stable.

According to officials, the man was shot after being involved in an argument with the suspect.
The victim’s age and identity were not released. APD did not say if they made any arrests.
The investigation is ongoing.
