ATLANTA — A lockdown at North Atlanta High School was lifted shortly after 2 p.m., school district officials confirm.
A spokesperson for Atlanta Public Schools says the school received an email threat late Tuesday morning.

The school was placed on an exterior lockdown while Atlanta Public Schools police and other law enforcement are searching the campus.
Officials say all students and staff are safe.
“APS takes situations such as this extremely seriously as the safety and security of our students, employees, and campuses is our top priority,” they wrote in a statement.
