ATLANTA — The Downtown Connector through midtown and downtown Atlanta was shut down in both directions Monday night as firefighters, MARTA personnel and Atlanta police helped get a man off the ledge of an overpass.

The connector was shut down for a few hours as emergency crews talked the man off the ledge.
Traffic began moving through the connector around 10:15 p.m.
