ATLANTA — Severe Weather Team 2 is monitoring a big pattern change in our weather next week.
That change includes rain across north Georgia for several days.
We will start seeing rain on Sunday, but more widespread rain begins on Tuesday and sticks around all the way through Thursday.
“Rainfall totals this weekend are going to be pretty light, less than half an inch,” Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz said. “The Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday rainfall will be heavy at times and parts of the area could have 2-4 inches of rain.”
We will be tracking the showers and storms throughout the weekend on Channel 2 Action News.
