ATLANTA — Grab your jacket Tuesday! Some parts of Georgia are seeing temperatures drop to the 40s, Meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking how long this will last, on Channel 2 Action News.
Temperatures across the state are in the 30s and 40s for most areas Tuesday morning.
"It's the coldest we’ve been area-wide since early May," Monahan said.
Monahan said Atlanta will make it to around 70 later Tuesday.

Monahan said this week will be dry with lots of sun.
Good morning! Temps are in the mid 50s now at #ATL... but only 39 in Blairsville! I used my seat heaters this morning -- it's chilly! :)
