CARROLLTON, Ga. — For weeks, police have been investigating pills being sold out of a house in Carrollton.
Last week, officers arrested Victor North, 70, and charged him with running a pill mill out of his home.

While searching North’s home, investigators found more than 1,800 pills, including Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Tramadol and more. They also found a gun and large amount of cash.
North, already a convicted felon, was booked into the Carroll County Jail and charged with sale of a schedule II substance (Oxycodone), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and three counts of possession with intent to distribute for the Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Tramadol.
According to Carroll County jail records, North spent six days in custody before being released on a $10,000 bond.
