CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — One person was injured in an automotive mechanic shop fire that happened Saturday in Cherokee County near Canton.
At around 11:20 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the shop on Chattin Drive.
When they arrived they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the building.
They were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
One person was injured at the shop and is stable.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
