CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County Police say they arrested three men in a violent robbery attempt that occurred early last month.
Police say on January 9, Jaylind Banks, 18, was ambushed, beaten, robbed and shot in the thigh, requiring multiple surgeries.

Officials identified two of the three suspects; 17-year-old Mykel Brown and another juvenile who is 15 years old.
On Friday, GSP and U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested the suspects. The 15-year-old was arrested at a home in Forest Park, while Brown was arrested upon returning to a location in Riverdale via Lyft.

The third suspect was with Brown at the time of his arrest and was also arrested. Brown was booked into the Clayton County Jail, while both juveniles were transported to the Regional Youth Detention Center (RYDC).
They are charged with criminal attempt - murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
