CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an armed and dangerous murder suspect who led law enforcement officials on a chase Friday evening.
CCSO says Vincent Steele is wanted in the City of Atlanta for murder. Friday night, Georgia State Patrol reportedly spotted Steele tried to perform a traffic stop, but he fled the scene.
Steele reportedly ended up in Clayton County “trying to hide” according to Sheriff Levon Allen.

CCSO deputies spotted Steele on Tara Boulevard, where they initiated a traffic stop on Highway 54 in front of Mundy’s Mill High School. Steele once again sped away to flee the scene, reaching speeds of nearly 100 mph as he left Clayton and entered Fayette County.
Steele caused a crash at the intersection of Banks Road and Fayetteville Road, where he t-boned a neighbor. Deputies provided aid to the victim, however, Steele escaped custody this time on foot.

He is currently being pursued by Atlanta Police, GSP, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.
Steele was driving a car registered to a family member and is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, you are encouraged to not approach.
