The girl told her school counselor about what happened.
According to the arrest warrant, Kennedy is accused of trying to convince the girl to get into his car. And when she refused, he grabbed her wrist and tried to force her inside, but she was able to fight him off.
She was able to give police a detailed description of Kennedy and his car, which allowed them to identify him.
She told police he was missing two teeth and that the rest of them were black. She also noticed a cut on his hand that appeared to be healing.
Two days later, Kennedy was arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping.
