I-75 back open in Cobb County after crash sends wooden pallets on the interstate

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — All lanes on Interstate 75 southbound were closed before State Route 280 Delk Road on Thursday morning, but have since reopened.

Georgia State Patrol says that a pickup truck pulling a utility trailer was following too closely behind a tractor-trailer.

The pickup truck crashed into the back of the tractor-trailer and got stuck underneath. Both drivers and a passenger got trapped in their vehicles.

All of them were rescued from the vehicles and rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries.
