COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Rescue crews in Cobb County recovered a body from the Chattahoochee River later Monday night.
Cobb County Fire and Rescue searched the water and recovered the body of a man. His identity has not been released.

Atlanta Fire and Rescue Department said they were called out to I-75 NB Expressway at Mount Paran Road NW about a body face down in the Chattahoochee River.
Crews arrived to the 2200 block of West Wesley Road NW, just one mile North of Powers Ferry boat ramp outside the City of Atlanta.

Based on the location, Cobb County Fire Department responded to the scene and took over the incident.
What led to the victim’s drowning has not been released.
