Police have arrested a man in connection with a woman who was attacked by a masked man while walking in Peachtree City last year.
On June 14, 2024, at around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the multi-use path behind ReNew Braelinn Apartments to reports of an attack on a woman.
The woman said a teenager tried to steal her fanny pack and the two began fighting.

During the scuffle, she was able to remove his mask and he immediately ran off toward Balmoral Village Apartments.
Peachtree City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division identified a suspect a few days after the attack and interviewed him.
After the interview, a search warrant was provided that allowed police to collect the suspect’s DNA.
Following testing at the GBI lab, the results were a positive match with the mask removed by the woman at the time of the attack.
Terrence Truitt, 19, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, and charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery.
