Police learned a teenager attempted to steal a woman’s fanny pack, leading to a fight. The victim was able to remove the suspect’s mask during their scuffle, causing him to flee the scene on foot.
Days after the robbery attempt, police gathered leads that led them to their suspect. After an interview of the suspect, police secured a warrant, got a sample of the teen’s DNA, which returned a positive DNA match.
