Marietta fire officials say two pickup trucks for sale at Atlanta Luxury Motors and three vehicles for sale at Unlimited Auto Group were damaged.

“It appears the cause of both fires is intentional, so this is going to be investigated as arson and we believe the cases are linked,” said Marietta Fire Marshal’s Office Assistant Chief Jason Garner.

Investigators told Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell that they believe the same person started the fires.

Officials are still working to learn the exact amount of financial losses that both dealerships suffered.
