A flash flood warning was issued for two north Georgia counties Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City issued a flash flood warning for northwestern Gilmer County and east central Murray County in northwestern Georgia until 7 p.m.
The warning, which was issued after radar indicated thunderstorms were producing heavy rain across the warned area, has since expired.
Elsewhere, in a 4 p.m. report from Polk County, a tree was reported down on Clemons Drive at Ridgewood Drive.
