FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A Forsyth County is facing child pornography charges after deputies searched his home.
Members of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office participated in “Operation Bytedown,” a statewide operation sponsored by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.
The operation focused on peer-to-peer networks that collectors of child pornography use to download and trade movies and images with others in the network.

On Thursday, deputies executed a search warrant on a home in Forsyth County and seized electronic devices for analysis.
Two external hard drives were searched and deputies found that they contained large amounts of child pornography.
Elvis Beltran Pineda, 25, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
He was booked into the Forsyth County Jail where he remains without bond.
