FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said that a body was found floating along Lake Lanier on Thursday night.
Investigators said a man’s body was discovered on the lake in the area of the Six Mile Creek boat ramp around 6:40 p.m. Forsyth County firefighters retrieved the body and brought it to shore.
The investigation showed the death was a result of a self-inflicted act, and no foul play is suspected, the sheriff’s office spokesperson said Friday.
