DULUTH, Ga. — A metro Atlanta police department reminds motorists speeding is not just dangerous, but ‘downright reckless.’

Recently, Duluth Cpl. Lucas stopped a vehicle along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
According to Duluth police, the driver was speeding 115 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone.

“Great work, Cpl. Lucas, for keeping our streets safe,” the department said.
The driver’s age and identity were not released.
The driver was charged with speeding and reckless driving and booked into the Gwinnett County Jail.
