SNELLVILLE, Ga. — The Snellville Police Department says they are investigating a shooting call in the city, Channel 2 Action News has learned.
Detective Jeff Manley with Snellville PD told Channel 2 Action News they received a shots fired call just before 6 p.m. this evening in the area of Englewood Way near Long Street.

When police arrived on scene, they found a vehicle that crashed into a home. Inside of the vehicle, a man was found and determined to be dead.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is on scene assisting Snellville Police and are investigating this incident as a homicide.

Snellville Police are asking for the public to avoid the area.
