Suspect walked into a Gwinnett County business and demanded money. He was later arrested

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Gwinnett County Police Department arrested a man they say was involved in robbing a business last month.

Police say on January 27, they responded to a 911 call near the 2600 block of Buford Drive in Buford.

When they arrived on scene, they met with the victim who told them the suspect approached the counter and brandished a firearm.

The suspect demanded cash from the register and left the scene on foot. Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect.

This week, detectives reviewed the footage and identified their suspect after a detective spotted him leaving a house.

Detectives approached 26-year-old Samuel Norman of Buford and arrested him. He is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

He was booked in the Fulton County Jail.
