GWINNETT CO., Ga. — Police said Monday they have identified and charged the driver of a tractor-trailer involved in a crash that pushed a car through two intersections before driving away.

Gwinnett County police said in a news release that Christian Barrier, 31, of Alabama, has been charged with hit and run, improper lane change, reckless driving and reckless conduct.
Barrier turned himself into police custody Jan. 31.
A traffic camera captured footage of the collision, as well as the driver of the silver sedan involved. Police said the car’s driver, who was not identified, was not injured.

The car crossed over the I-85 overpass on Pleasant Hill Road on Jan. 28 when the 18-wheeler changed lanes and struck the car, causing it to spin and get pinned to the front of the truck, police said.
After the tractor-trailer left the scene, the car’s driver called police.
