GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Gainesville police are searching for a teenager they are describing as “dangerous.”
They say Alan Barrera, 17, is wanted for the Jan. 11 murder of 17-year-old Aristo Ramirez.

Police say they were called to reports of shots fired and a crashed car on Hillcrest Avenue.
When they got there, they found Ramirez dead from a gunshot wound. Another 16-year-old was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the foot.

Investigators say Ramirez crashed the car after being shot.
Anyone who sees Barrera or knows where he might be should call 911.
