GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A crash shut down all lanes of Interstate 85 northbound at Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Gwinnett County on Friday.
Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields first reported the crash involving multiple vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, just before 5 a.m. on Channel 2 Action News This Morning.
Shields issued a traffic red alert for the crash. The lanes reopened three hours later just before 8 a.m.

Gwinnett County police said there were two vehicles involved and one of the drivers was taken to the hospital. They did not have an update on the driver’s condition.
Georgia State Patrol also responded to the crash. Channel 2 Action News has reached out for more information.
