NORTH GEORGIA — While most of the ice from the weekend has gradually melted, a few school districts in north Georgia are giving it another day for their back roads to clear up.
A handful of districts announced that they are closed, delayed or moving to digital learning for Tuesday due to road conditions.

Here’s the list:
- Banks County Schools: Delayed 2 hours
- Catoosa County Schools: Delayed 2 hours
- Chattooga County Schools: Delayed 2 hours
- Dade County Schools: Delayed 2 hours
- Dawson County Schools: Virtual Learning Day
- Fannin County Schools: Virtual Learning Day
- Gilmer County Schools: Closed
- Habersham County Schools: Closed
- Lumpkin County Schools: Virtual Learning Day
- Pickens County Schools: Virtual Learning Day
- Rabun County Schools: Virtual Learning Day
- Stephens County Schools: Closed
- Towns County Schools: Virtual Learning Day
- Union County Schools: Virtual Learning Day
- Walker County Schools: Delayed 2 hours
- White County Schools: Closed
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says lows overnight fell into the teens in the mountains and 20s in other places. Highs for Tuesday will bein the upper 40s and milder temperatures return later this week.
The districts will make a decision later today about their Wednesday schedules. Channel 2 Action News will report on any school delays or closings as we get them.
