WALKER COUNTY, Ga. — An Alabama woman who was reported missing back in June has been found dead in north Georgia.
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office says a homeowner called 911 late Thursday after an animal brought part of her remains into their yard.

Early Friday morning, the rest of her skeleton was found in the woods.
The remains were identified as Timaya Williams, 23, who was reported missing in Montgomery, Alabama in June 2024.

Her car was found abandoned along Highway 193 in Walker County in June and was towed away by GSP. The sheriff’s office says law enforcement in Montgomery never entered the car into NCIC.
Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson says her death as been ruled a suicide.
