The bus driver asked Niguel Armstead to get off the bus several times, but they refused. Armstead attacked the driver pinning him to the ground and began strangling him, police said.
Witnesses jumped in to pull Armstead off the driver. Students who ride the bus were horrified about the incident.
“They do so much good work for everyone, and people are out here just, you know, not even caring about them at all. It’s kind of crazy,” said KSU student Finn Little.

According to a Cobb County warrant, Armstead pulled a gun at the restaurant where they work during a fight with coworkers.
