ATLANTA — Moisture from Tropical Storm Harvey is reaching Georgia, but areas won’t see the type of heavy rain that caused flooding in Texas.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz says the rain, which is moisture moisture in the circulation around Harvey along with a warm front, moved into parts of Georgia around noon and metro Atlanta could receive up to two inches through Friday. Parts of north Georgia could see more than three inches.

Storms are also possible throughout the area.
The rain is expected to stick around for the next few days.
The weekend is looking clear so far, as the system moves northeast.
