Severe storms moving out of north Georgia

ATLANTA — A line of severe storms moved across north Georgia.

Severe Weather Team 2 and Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz tracked multiple tornado warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says while the risk is diminishing, there remains the chance for a few strong storms on the south side.

The skies will be clearing Wednesday morning.

4:25 a.m. All active tornado warnings have expired.

4:09 a.m. Tornado Warning for Butts and Jasper County until 4:45am.

3:47 a.m. Tornado Warning for Butts, Henry, Jasper and Spalding County until 4:15am.

3:43 a.m. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Butts, Henry, Jasper and Spalding County until 4:15am.

3:26 a.m. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Butts, Clayton, Henry and Newton County until 4:00am.

2:58 a.m. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Clayton, Fayette, Fulton and Henry County until 3:30am.

1:48 a.m. Flash Flood Warning for Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett and Paulding County until 7:45am Wednesday.

1:45 a.m. A tornado watch is in effect until 2 a.m. central for Randolph and Cleburne counties in Alabama.

1:26 a.m.: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Rabun County until 2:00am.

1:10 a.m.: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Carroll and Haralson County until 2:00am.

1:01 a.m.: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Carroll, Douglas, Haralson and Paulding County until 1:45am.

12:50 a.m.: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Banks, Barrow, Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson County until 1:30am.
