COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Firefighters are battling a massive fire at an apartment complex in College Park on Friday morning.
Crews responded to The Langston apartments on Godby Road before 5 a.m.

During Channel 2 Action News This Morning, the fire appeared to reignite as flames started coming through the roof and spilling out from doors on the top floor.
Channel 2′s Steve Gehlbach was at the complex where neighbors who live at the complex escaped out into the cold with the clothes on their backs.
Tye Smith told Gehlbach that the fire started in the back of the complex.
“If you go around to the back of this building, it’s actually like all the balconies are gone,” Smith said.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured.
Officials are still working to determine how the fire started.
According to the American Red Cross, at least 23 people were affected by the fire and were given assistance, comfort kits and provided with recovery planning.
