ROME, Ga. — Rome police have charged two people after a woman’s body was found covered with blankets on Tuesday.
Authorities arrested 23-year-old Mystique Taylor and 25-year-old Rolanda Monique Edwards. Police have not released the victim’s name.

Witnesses told police they saw a red car in the area of John Graham Homes near Avenue and Cedar Avenue, where the body was discovered.
Authorities in Bartow County later spotted a car matching the description that was sent out. A video shared with Channel 2 Action News shows a brief chase with the car on Hwy 411 near Cartersville before Taylor and Edwards were taken into custody.
Taylor is being held without bond on multiple charges, including fleeing or attempting to elude, reckless driving, speeding, theft by receiving stolen property, and failure to obey traffic-control devices.
He is also facing felony warrants for concealing the death of another, aggravated assault, two counts of felony murder, and aggravated battery, and is additionally being held for the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.
Edwards is also being held without bond and is charged with party to a crime, with warrants for concealing the death of another and hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal.

The investigation is ongoing. Rome police say that this appears to be an isolated incident, with no ongoing threat to the public.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Rome Police Department or call 911.
